Yes, MileIO is completely free — no ads, no subscriptions, no in-app purchases. We built it as a passion project for car enthusiasts who want a clean, privacy-respecting fuel tracker.

MileIO stores all your data locally on your device and in your private iCloud account. We have zero backend servers, no analytics SDKs, and no way to access your data. We literally cannot see your information even if we wanted to.

Absolutely. MileIO supports tracking kWh consumption, charging costs, and efficiency metrics like kWh/100mi or kWh/100km alongside traditional fuel vehicles (gasoline, diesel, etc.).

MileIO uses Apple's on-device Vision framework to perform OCR on fuel receipts. Point your camera at a receipt and it extracts the price, volume, and total. All processing happens on your device — no images are uploaded or stored.

Yes, MileIO uses Apple's CloudKit Private Database to sync your data across all your Apple devices signed into the same iCloud account. The sync is automatic and encrypted.

Yes. You can export your fuel history to CSV for spreadsheets or generate PDF reports — both available from the app's Settings. Your data is always yours to take with you.

You can delete individual entries by swiping left, delete vehicles (which removes all associated entries), or remove all data by uninstalling the app and clearing iCloud data via Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Manage Storage > MileIO > Delete Data.

MileIO requires iOS 17.0 or later. It runs on iPhone and is optimized for all modern screen sizes.

Yes. You can add and manage as many vehicles as you like, each with its own fuel type, entry history, and analytics dashboard.
